Apple

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Apples are a good source of Vitamin C. You can have them all year round. Red apple contains an antioxidant that boosts your immune system. It is a rich source of fiber that helps to prevent constipation. Studies have shown that apple fight again breast and colon cancer.

 

Blueberry

Blueberries are low in cholesterol but high in nutrients. They are packed with antioxidant, Vitamin C, and Fibre. They can improve memories. They are low in sugar and relatively cheap. They still have their nutritional value when frozen.

 

Flax seed

The best way to add fiber to your diet is to add flax seed to your meal. If you want healthier hair skin and nail then add some flaxseed in your diet. They provide your skin and hair with essential fat and reduce dryness. They contain Omega-3 essential fatty acids.

 

Broccoli

Vegetables are good for you so eat up your greens. Broccoli contains Vitamin K which improve calcium absorption. It also detoxifies your body system and prevents constipation. Don’t overcook your broccoli because you want to retain all your nutrients and benefit from them.

 

Spinach

Salmon is rich in B12 and Vitamin D. It has one of the highest concentration of Omega-3 fatty acid. We all know that fish is a good source of protein. Salmon is no exception. The healthiest way to cook salmon is to use methods that will keep it moist and soft.

 

Oats

This is a good source of fiber. They are gluten free. It can lower cholesterol and improve blood sugar control. Oats also help with weight loss. This a popular cereal that you can eat for breakfast. It is an ingredient use to make delicious smoothies.

 

Garlic

Garlic boosts your immune system. It will spice up any many dishes that you like.  It contains antibiotics and anti-inflammatory properties. It can combat sickness including a common cold. I drink garlic tea when I have a cold. It does work in truth.

 

Beans

Beans are rich proteins. Vegetarians substitute this for meat in their diet. Beans are an important food group that we should include the diet. There are many beans that you can choose from to spice up your diet. These include black bean, Chickpeas, Kidney beans, and Lima beans.
